Karolinka

Village 18 kilometres eastward of Vsetin in the valley of the Horni Becva river. It has been established after the year 1862 in connection with floatation of the “Karolinina hut”glass work. Since 1949 it has been a part of Novy Hrozenkov and since 1998 Karolinka has been a town. In the valley Ratkov some exhibits of folklore architecture can be discovered. Timbered buildings are from 18th and 19th century. In glass works a permanent exhibition has been opened.
